In Memory… Jamieson Longe
For the past 20 years, Jamie was an important part of the Baker team. He had a vibrant, larger-than-life personality that drew everyone in with his easy-going nature and his unapologetic authenticity. He anchored our days with fierce loyalty, loud laughter, and an infectious enthusiasm that inspired us all to be ourselves. His knowledge and deep dedication to our water treatment products helped shape who Baker is today. To us, and to many of you, he wasn't just a voice on the phone—he was a friend.
Jamie started working with us in 2006 building softeners in Kenora as part of Northwest Aqua. When we moved operations to Winnipeg, he was the head of our new water treatment division. Jamie possessed an unmatched, encyclopedic knowledge of our products, but his real gift was making everyone feel heard, valued, and looked after. It is impossible to overstate how much of our water treatment success was built on his shoulders. He was one of a kind. And we will all miss his familiar, “Hey man. How’s it goin?”

Our Team
When it comes to the groundwater industry, Clark is easily one of the most knowledgeable persons in Manitoba. He first started at Baker back in 1984, spent some time sharpening his skills at industry giants B.A. Robinson and Western Supplies, and eventually returned home to Baker, taking the wheel as President 27 years ago. Over the last 40 years, he has done every job in the building—from inventory control to sales manager. He is our resident Monitor expert and the only wholesale member of the Manitoba Water Well Association to ever be certified as a Pump Installer. If you have a difficult problem to solve, give Clark a call. When he isn't solving groundwater puzzles, Clark loves heading out to the cottage with his growing family that includes a brand-new grandson.
Clark Myers, C.I.M
Skylar is a licensed Journeyman Plumber with over a decade of experience in the plumbing and water treatment industry. After completing his Journeyman certification, he rejoined the Baker inside sales team. Our customers rely daily on his practical, hands-on knowledge of our water treatment systems and applications. Outside of the office, Skylar stays busy keeping up with his young, growing family.
Greg has spent over 25 years helping customers navigate the groundwater industry. Specializing in wastewater and well systems, he loves sharing his deep technical knowledge to make our customers' jobs easier. When he is off the clock, Greg enjoys time at the gym and loves trading the cold Canadian weather for his favourite annual vacation spot in Cozumel, Mexico.
Curtis pairs a strong customer service background with exceptional organizational skills to manage our purchasing. He also steps in to support our inside sales team whenever needed. Outside of the office, Curtis is a talented local musician who performs regularly in the community, and he loves spending quality time with his active family.
Originally from Ukraine by way of Korea, Denys manages our shipping and receiving department while expanding his role into counter sales. He keeps our warehouse running at peak efficiency and brings that same dedication to helping customers face-to-face at the counter. Outside of work, Denys is deeply devoted to his family; he and his wife love exploring Winnipeg alongside their young son.
Klarissa has managed our daily operations for the past decade. Holding a degree in Business Administration, she expertly oversees payables, receivables, and records management. As our first point of contact, she ensures the office runs smoothly every day—and proudly supervises our "Director of Greetings." Baker is truly a family affair for Klarissa; she is married to Clark and Wendy’s son, Josh, and the couple recently celebrated the arrival of their brand-new baby boy.
Wendy is Baker's ultimate multi-tasker, keeping us organized by handling HR, payroll, banking, website updates, and our monthly newsletter. Wendy’s history in the business goes way back—she and Clark actually first met while working together at B.A. Robinson! She loves that Baker has become a true family affair and is currently soaking up every single minute of her newest role: being a proud grandma.
As the newest member of our logistics team, Ross brings dedication and a strong work ethic to Baker’s shipping and receiving department. Originally from Ukraine, he works hard daily to ensure our warehouse inventory is accurately managed and that customer orders are processed seamlessly. Outside of the warehouse, Ross is a devoted family man who loves spending his time with his wife and their three children.
